Since I joined DA, I have always wondered how much mauritians there were here and how to meet them. Considering the fact that mauritian artists are mostly neglected in their own country due to lack of spotlight, we have the tendency to think that mauritians are not as creative as residents of other countries: 'Pou ban ti moricien mo truv zot serier!'

Many of us tend to think like that before we realise that mauritians are one of the most creative nation on this planet, think music, think writings, think painting and much more! We can achieve great things but we don't have a good platform for expressing ourselves and discovering our compatriots.

So please join this community if you are a mauritian, are related to Mauritius or a Mauritius lover. Btw I don’t know if other communities already exist at this time, but we are open for affiliation.
