how can u possibly say mauritian artists are kept in the dark? on wot ground dyu make this statement?mauritians have got the opportunity to show wot they are worth but have u seen wot Carine De Chazal has been doing? painting things with curves that are supposed to be women's boobs??????? are boobs the only thing she had to represent feminity? wot if she had breast cancer and had her tits cut off? would she paint figures with legs apart and a black hole in between??

now i have a question.. wots typically mauritian about this group that u have to call it 'moris'? just call it 'a bunch of mauri' for eg? none of us here have got the least mauritian touch in their art. some ar goths, others dream of some kinda butterfly species that doesnt exist in mauri.[not takin the piss, just observing, no offence bros and sisters]
okay maybe i havent seen all mauri artists down here but still... instead of promoting mauritian artists under the 'moris' label, u should specify that altho the artists [i shud put artists in inverted commas lol nah soyz just messin] are born in mauri , they do NOT necessarily represent MAURITIAN ART.

i have joined this group hoping to find something to identify myself to. this brain drain thing is not only physical in the end.
i am not just complaining, i am suggesting u advise ppl in a more 'concrete' manner, request a return to our roots, not the basic roots like mine are afro indian,urz are Congolese or Japanese, but our mauritian roots. i admit i will be among the ones who'll need ur mature advice. i wish this group keeps us attached and united to promote our true culture while still encouraging ourselves to merge with others'
Still, to represent mauritius as basically sea, sand and sssssssun [its hard fighting the usual 'sex'] would be giving a faked image.now dont go clickin pics of that stupid cyber tower standing like a gross dick in the middle of nowhere.i wish i had enough money to have my Canon repaired, my lil Olympus agrees with only one subject, me. lol ... gud excuse.
